Yes. Comedy is subjective and certain comedians are not for everybody. Watching a YouTube clip or reading the headliner's biography is a great way to get insight on the expected performance.
Yes, we will have stand by lines for all of our SOLD OUT shows. People generally start lining up about an hour to two before showtime, but you are free to come earlier. It is first come first serve.
Stand by guests wait in line until 30 minutes after the show starts to see if there are any seats available for you to purchase.
We will fill all open seats with stand by.
We recommend general admission for larger groups. The booths are sold in four ticket increments and we allow one booth sale per show, per customer. For general admission you can book 8 tickets per a person.
For larger groups you will need to have multiple group members place orders. No group rates or presales. No exceptions.
Seating is first come first serve. We recommend getting here 45-60 minutes early to get your group in line and through security. We will begin seating 30 minutes before showtime and will do our best to seat large groups together.
We have open mic Mondays at 5:30pm. Sign-up in person, pick is random, and the selected lineup will be posted at 6:15P.
If you’re interested in potentially performing on the Kill Tony Podcast, performer sign-ups are from 5P-7P at Shakespeare’s Pub. You’ll need to write down your name, and if possible a twitter account, and performers will be called up during the show after being randomly drawn from the bucket. Performers will have 60 seconds to perform before being interviewed by Tony, Brian and the guest judges.
There are two showrooms. Fat Man is our larger headliner showroom and Little Boy is our smaller showroom, featuring the best of local and national talent in a more intimate setting.

General Notice:
We reserve the right to refuse service to any patron who does not meet these standards, including those lacking adequate hygiene (e.g., extreme body odor) or otherwise violating our dress code policy.
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges.
Patrons may take personal photographs BEFORE or AFTER the show in the lobby. Taking pictures and videotaping shows during the show without the club’s and the artist’s written consent is strictly prohibited.
Shows are usually between 90 and 115 minutes, although the show’s actual length is entirely dependent on the headliner and what their current performance calls for.
There is a two drink minimum, including non-alcoholic beverages.
The Showroom arrangement is similar to a cabaret theater – chairs surrounding tables, facing the stage with friendly and discreet table service.
General Admission tickets and VIP Booth tickets are first come first served seating for each ticket type.
Yes, however smoke may be used at times by the comedians on stage.
Booth seating includes a four person booth (max) and are only sold in increments of four to reserve the entire booth for your party.
The entire party needs to be together to enter the venue.
General Admission seating is available on a first-come, first-sat basis. The earlier you arrive, the better your seats will be. Ticket purchasers who arrive on time are guaranteed seating.
Please Note: We are not able to accommodate specific seating requests at this time.
We recommend that ticket holders arrive at least 30-45 minutes before showtime to get through security and be seated.
ATTENTION: Attendess can be no later than 30 minutes. 30 minutes after the show begins your tickets will be voided and sold to stand by. No refunds will be given under this circumstance. The Comedy Mothership reserves this right on all ticketed events.
General admission is first-come, first-seated as you enter the showroom, so seating preference cannot be guaranteed. However, general admission ticket holders who arrive at least 30 minutes before showtime and enter the showroom together have the best chance of being seated as a group.
Please Note: Larger groups may be seated at multiple tables in the same area. These tables cannot be rearranged or pushed together

We do use Yondr bags. Yondr creates phone-free spaces for artists and comedians. Upon arrival at the venue, all phones and smart watches are placed in Yondr cases by our staff and will be unlocked at the end of the show. Guests maintain possession of their phones at all times. Guests may access their phones in the designated Phone Use Areas throughout the venue at any time.
There are plenty of paid parking lots around the area. If you can find a space on 6th Street between Red River and Congress Avenue, it is mostly free 2 hour parking, and metered spaces are free after 6:00pm Monday through Wednesday. Parking is free all day Sunday.
Yes, we do. To check our lost and found call the Box Office at 512-610-5537 or email us at info@comedymothership.com.

Yes, both theatres are accessible via elevator. Simply arrive at least 45 minutes before showtime and let security know upon entry.
Booths in the Fat Man theatre are down 2-6 steps. We recommend buying GA tickets to avoid any stairs in that theatre. There are GA seats directly outside the elevator. The Little Boy theatre is fully accessible with ramp walkways throughout.
The entire party must be present to be checked in. Guests are granted a 30-minute grace period from the scheduled showtime to arrive. If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, your ticket will be voided and may be resold to standby guests. No refunds will be issued for late arrivals.
